I'm determined to bring back this section!

So...

What was the first concert you ever went to?
What was the last concert you saw?
What was the best concert (or concerts) you've ever seen?
Are you going to any concerts this summer?

What was the first concert you ever went to? Neil Diamond. I was 9 and my whole family was forced to go because my mom has been in love with him since she was a teenager. It was lots of fun.

What was the last concert you saw? Way back in November 2008, I saw the New Kids reunion tour. It rocked (see next answer).

What was the best concert (or concerts) you've ever seen? I've enjoyed just about every concert I've ever been to, but the best were the New Kids reunion, and both times I saw the Dixie Chicks.

Are you going to any concerts this summer? Nope. I was supposed to see the Courtyard Hounds next week, but they had to cancel. I was so looking forward to it - I had second row seats!

Let's see...

First concert: The B52's. Awesome. I must have been about 8 or 9, and went with my mom and her friends. I remember it being super great, and full of dancing middle-aged ladies

Last concert I saw: She & Him played a free show in Millennium Park about a month ago, and that was fun. I picnic-ed on the lawn with some friends, had some wine, and enjoyed the sweet sounds of Zooey Deschanel's voice

Best concerts: I saw Ingrid Michaelson about a year and a half ago, and it was a really great show. She was really funny, played awesome, and the other 2 artists were equally funny/talented: David Ford and Newton Faulkner. I don't really listen to any of Ingrid's newer material, but I loved what she used to do.

I saw Death Cab for Cutie 2ish years ago, and Cold War Kids and Ra Ra Riot played with them, both good bands, so it was a really overall-enjoyable show

Concerts this summer: Well, as I mentioned I saw She & Him, and that's all I had in my plans. I'd like to go to Lollapalooza, but I don't think I want to spend the money this year. I could really use a new hard-drive instead. Though I'd kill to see Arcade Fire and Spoon, so I guess I'll play it by ear!

First concert: Faith Hill and Tim McGraw Soul 2 Soul Tour
Last Concert: Maroon 5, Sara Barellis, and the Counting Crows (totally misspelled Sara's last name)
Best Concert: I'd say one of the Kelly Clarkson concerts I've been to because she is my ultra-fave.

This summer, I will be going to see Maroon 5 again. My friends and I go to a show at the PNC Bank Arts Center every year and party on the lawn, and they were playing again and were really good last year. Plus, live nation had a promo for the show for $10 tickets.

What was the first concert you ever went to? New Kids on the Block!
What was the last concert you saw? They Might Be Giants - we took the boys to a family show a few months ag
What was the best concert (or concerts) you've ever seen? Rolling Stones - which is sort of weird because I'm not that big of a fan, but they put on an incredible show.
Are you going to any concerts this summer? Nope. In Sept we're going to the "Life IS Good" Festival in Boston with a whole mess of bands including TMBG

What was the first concert you ever went to?
Paula Abdul....seriously!

What was the last concert you saw?
Adam Lambert - he was fabulous and theatrical

What was the best concert (or concerts) you've ever seen?
Elton John was pretty wonderful. I'm also a huge fan of John Mayer's talent and really love his concerts.

Are you going to any concerts this summer?
Nope - Adam Lambert was my first and last of the summer.

What was the first concert you ever went to?
Unfortunately, I believe it was Aaron Carter. I was pretty excited.

What was the last concert you saw?
Band Of Horses in Williamsburg

What was the best concert (or concerts) you've ever seen?
Vampire Weekend at Summer Stage. I went with my friends and it was storming, but the rain made it so much better.

Are you going to any concerts this summer?
Probably not. But maybe if I see one I want to go to!

What was the first concert you ever went to? Charlie Daniels Band. I believe I was 2. They played at the Officer's Club in Guantanamo. My mom worked there so we got to go for free. I don't remember any of that. The first concert I actually remember was Gloria Estefan in Miami. I was probably 10 or 11?

What was the last concert you saw? I saw Honor Society back in March. Such a fantastic show.

What was the best concert (or concerts) you've ever seen? Probably Honor Society. This was my 4th time seeing them, but I got to go onstage during soundcheck, and embarrass the hell out myself so that was pretty cool.

Are you going to any concerts this summer? Not sure. I would love to see Maroon 5 again, but the closest they're coming is Miami, and I don't know if I want to make the 5 hour drive down there by myself...

What was the first concert you ever went to? Blondie. They were playing at a music festival in Cincinnati so my friends and I drove up just in time to see them play. There were 4 of us and we were only 14, 15, 15, and 16. My friend had just gotten her license and drove us 2 hours away. I remember we all lied to our parents about it too. Crazy.

What was the last concert you saw? Adam Lambert, this past Saturday (July 10th). Amazing. Allison Iraheta and Orianthi opened for him and they were both great. But Adam was on a whole other level of performance. He really has terrific stage presence and I was thoroughly surprised at how great he sounds live.

What was the best concert (or concerts) you've ever seen? The 2nd time I saw Blondie. It was like 2 years ago for their Parallel Lines 30th Anniversary tour. Debbie Harry is a flawless goddess and the band still sounded amazing.

Are you going to any concerts this summer? I already did. Adam Lambert will probably be the only one I go to. I've only ever been to 5 concerts in my entire life. (Blondie 2x, Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert, and this badass Queen tribute band.)

Sidenote: We just had our annual Forecastle Music Festival here in Louisville and on Saturday Cake, Devo, and The Smashing Pumpkins all performed in a row. I didn't go because the ticket prices were whack and I'd already had my Adam tickets, but damn.

Are you going to any concerts this summer?
as mentioned above, i saw lady gaga a couple weeks ago. i am actually a little disappointed by the concert selection this summer, but i'm hoping something will come along in the fall.
